Happenings at The Darby

I arrived at the house about 9:30am and the sod guys were here!!  

It looks SO MUCH better with grass!!

We paid the extra to get the entire hill done. The rest will be seeded. 

They left sod off where our new deck will go. 

We are paying a friends kid to clear out the underbrush in the backyard. He's a hard worker!

I am so excited to have a yard. We should have a clear path to rest of the back yard. 

Guardian came back and set up our alarm system. I love that we have apps on our phone that can control it from anywhere. He also finished installing and setting up the intercom system. The front door panel looks really nice. 

And now I can call for dinner from the kitchen instead at searching all over the house or screaming for everyone. 

I'm done painting for the day and just removing tape. The kitchen turned out awesome. Now they can deliver my appliances and I can slow down a bit.  My new pantry door should be here by Monday.  I'm getting tired.  (Excuse the messy counters. I'm sure anyone who's moved understands. Lol)

My boyfriends project is just about complete. He has to go buy one more shelf and finish putting the poles up. He did an awesome job. 

He also installed the cabinets in the laundry room. 

They installed one garage opener. Why not both? Yeah, I asked the same question. 

And they replaced the cracked window. 

The only thing left on our closing amendment list is my entryway light and the bathroom cabinet hardware. We're getting there.
