During our contract negotiations we added a few dedicated outlets for $250 a pop. If you wait and add them with the electrician, it's $100. Non-dedicated are only $25.
Changing placement of switches and raising outlets to 5ft for mounting was all free of charge.
We worked with Pam and she was awesome. We were able to get everything we wanted. It was a very productive and pleasant meeting.
Good tip on the extra outlets. I didn't think this was allowed by the builder. Are you paying the electrician directly?
ReplyDeleteYeah we are expecting an email showing us floodlight options and pricing. Then we pay them directly. With Inverness we are allowed to meet with the electrician, guardian and the landscaper to add whatever we want and pay them directly. Everything else is after close.
DeleteThis is great to know. We were debating adding more outlets too but now I know to wait for the electrician and pay them directly. Thanks
ReplyDeleteJust make sure you have Long, or that you are allowed to meet with the one from your development. . The lady at Long electric said they were the only company Inverness lets their customers add on from. I'm not sure how accurate that is so I would check.
